		<description>My guess is that the study proved correlation and not causation. In other words, that the children watched TV early on would more than likely be a sign that their parents or caretakers were able to afford a decent lifestyle and thus (probably) the basic necessities in a child's education. Such a nurturing environment would be helpful toward building a child's academic foundation for future prep tests like the SAT. The students who didn't watch TV (more than likely) would not have had such a beneficial upbringing, as financial strain on their families may have prevented them from watching TV at an early age.
