Medical billing is the processing of compiling & maintaining records of goods & services rendered at a health care facility, and filing insurance claims for reimbursement. Medical billing techs work in hospitals, doctors’ offices, clinics, surgery centers, long-term care facilities dental offices, consulting firms, government agencies and for insurance companies.
