Health care managers run and oversee medical facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes and clinical practices. They can manage at several different levels, from managing smaller facilities and departments to overseeing many departments, or even managing entire hospital systems.

Health care managers who work under higher-level managers are sometimes called assistant health care managers, but the nature of the role is mostly the same. This degree is good for health care administrators who manage larger facilities or oversee several other administrators.
